This quickstart walks you through getting your first actionable insight in Boa — from opening the platform to saving a deliverable. You’ll be up and running in under 5 minutes.
1

Open Boa and choose your mode

When you first open Boa, you’ll see two main options:
  • Chips (Guided Prompts) — Structured flows that guarantee consistent results
  • Conversational Mode — Flexible, freeform questions
For your first time, we recommend starting with a Chip. Chips are designed to deliver high-quality insights every time, with minimal setup.

Select a Chip or ask a question

If you chose Chips:
  • Browse the Chip Library by goal (Discover, Diagnose, Generate, Forecast, Monitor)
  • Select a Chip that matches your current need
  • Example: Choose “Competitor Landscape” under Discover to see what’s working in your market
If you chose Conversational Mode:
  • Type a plain-language question in the input field
  • Example: “What fantasy RPG ads are performing well this month?”
Chips require a few inputs (like genre, time window, or theme). Conversational Mode is completely freeform — just type your question.

  • Top performers — Creatives that stand out in your selected context
